The Back Story
The founders spent many years in corporate marketing positions, at old line manufacturing businesses. it became increasingly common for marketing to take a back seat. Often on the front line of cost cutting, marketing had become expendable.
Expendable, at least in the eyes of finance managers interested in trying to cut their way to growth. But for those who have developed programs that impacted sales and revenue, they knew better. Effective marketing can expand your audience.
